Carina Rose is a movement performer, visual artist, architect, and ecologist based in Montreal.

Her artwork intersects her building experience and movement practices to create in situ installations and performance works that investigate our role as mediators between the fabricated and the natural.

Her work investigates the relationship between space, objects, and our movement, and the ways we create and inhabit environments. In turn, it reflects on the ecological and social impact our movement and making has on all life forms and matter.

Embarking on a captivating journey with Carina, ProjetMILL is set to orchestrate a captivating series of artifact collections and meticulous documentation. These endeavors will unfold along the shores of the Lachine Canal, where treasures from the past lie waiting, mere footsteps away from the water's edge. Delving into the rich tapestry of history, artifacts unearthed from this exploration will undergo careful sorting and cataloging, breathing life into tales long forgotten.

Guided by Carina's touch, these fragments of bygone eras will transcend their individual stories to converge in a breathtaking contemporary sculpture. Through this artistic alchemy, the essence of the canal's legacy will be immortalized, inviting viewers to ponder the intricate interplay between time, nature, and human intervention.
