2024

In the summer of 2024, we proudly transformed 785 into a vibrant hub of activity, hosting a variety of musical performances, artistic showcases, pop-up markets, storytelling sessions, bike repair workshops, and visits from energetic day camps. Altogether, we organized 12 unforgettable events that brought together an incredible crowd of around 3,000 people! This milestone marks the beginning of something special, and while we’re thrilled with what we’ve achieved, we’re setting our sights even higher. As the 200th anniversary of the canal approaches, we aim to grow and evolve into a go-to destination for learning, creativity, and celebration!

2025

2025

Our mission for 2025 is bold and ambitious: to create a coup d’éclat that firmly places us at the heart of Montreal’s 200th canal anniversary celebrations. Through an innovative and expansive program on Mill Street—the city’s overlooked industrial dead space—we’re breathing new life into the stories that shaped Montreal. By blending history, art, and creativity, we’ll teach people about the city’s rich industrial heritage, from the clanging factories of the past to the innovations that defined a generation. Our vision is to transform Mill Street into a vibrant space of discovery, where history becomes tangible and the community gathers to celebrate the spirit of Montreal.

ProjetMILL Goals for 2025:

  1. Podcast Series

  2. Festival Collaborations

  3. Public Collaborative Sculpture
